Carrying on a family tradition... with a twist
I was literally born into Dentistry. My dad is a former family dentist and my mom was a dental hygienist. I was actually born while my mom was taking the Florida boards for dental hygiene. I always felt dentistry was an ideal job for me – getting to talk with people of all ages all day long, helping them have a smile they love to show off. The only thing better is being an orthodontist. I get to straighten teeth and boost self-esteem all day. Nothing makes me smile more than watching my patients’ faces light up when they see just how fun braces can be.
I have been a part of the Pensacola community since 1981, so my patients are my friends and neighbors. I can't think of a better way to spend my time than helping improve the community for my family, friends, and neighbors. I love being able to give my patients the latest treatments. With my extensive involvement in professional associations, my patients can rest assured they'll always get the most up-to-date, comfortable care.
Dr. Shehee received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga. He completed his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville. Dr. Shehee completed his two additional years of orthodontic specialty training and received a Certificate in Orthodontics from West Virginia University. He has been serving the Pensacola community since 1981. Dr. Shehee has been married to his wife Angie for over 35 years. They have 4 adult children and 7 grandchildren. When he is not in the office, Dr. Shehee enjoys working on his cattle farm and spending time with family.
